Jags Go For Three In A Row

Saturday 22nd September 2018
VSN Sport Scottish Amateur Football League Premier Division
Oban Saints AFC v Motherwell Thistle AFC
Glencruitten 2
Mossfield Avenue
Oban
Argyll
PA34 4EH
Kick Off 2pm

This Saturday Oban Saints and Motherwell Thistle shun the traditional Scottish Amateur Football League "September Weekend" fixture holiday and go head to head in a Premier Division clash.

Both sides have made 100% starts to the season so something will have to give in a fixture where Thistle have taken maximum points on their two previous visits.

Whatever the result everybody connected with Oban Saints will wish their counterparts at Motherwell Thistle an enjoyable day trip, their first since the death in tragic circumstances of their inspirational goalkeeper Paul Aiton. PG's personality on and off the pitch will live long in the memory of all who met him and is a massive loss to the amateur game in general and his beloved Motherwell Thistle in particular
